We are happy to announce the launch of the India Armed Violence Assessment (IAVA) new website: www.india-ava.org. The IAVA promotes systematic research on all forms of armed violence, from cross-border terrorism, domestic insurgencies, and militant separatism to less publicized risks to individuals, such as crime, social conflict, and gendered violence. The IAVA was launched in 2010 as a means of generating a more robust baseline of evidence on issues related to armed violence, including prevention and reduction strategies.
