Announcement: New Research Director
The Small Arms Survey is pleased to announce the appointment of Anna Alvazzi del Frate as Research Director.
Anna's expertise is in criminology, and she has over 20 years experience with the United Nations (with the UN Office on Drugs and Crime—UNODC—and the Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute—UNICRI). She joined the Survey as Senior Researcher in July 2010.
We would like to thank the outgoing Research Director, Robert Muggah, for his invaluable contribution to the Survey during his many years in the position, and wish him well in his move to Brazil. Rob will continue to retain an affiliation with the Small Arms Survey.
