Weapons Compass: Proliferation and Control of Arms and Ammunition in Wartime Ukraine analyses small arms proliferation and control efforts in Ukraine since the Russian full-scale invasion in February 2022. Using a mixed-methods approach, a team of Ukrainian and international researchers collected and analysed data from multiple sources to triangulate the findings. The Report also outlines policy observations for the Ukrainian government and its partners, from immediate priorities during wartime to medium-term supportive efforts and long-term structural reforms.
The event will feature presentations by the report’s authors, followed by a discussion with Ukrainian practitioners on the policy implications of the key findings.

У звіті «Компас Зброї: Розповсюдження зброї й боєприпасів та контроль над ними у воєнний час в Україні» проаналізовано поширення стрілецької зброї та заходи з її контролю в Україні від початку повномасштабного вторгнення Російської Федерації в лютому 2022 року. Використовуючи комплексну методологію, команда українських та міжнародних дослідників зібрала та проаналізувала дані з різних джерел для триангуляції результатів. У звіті також викладено зауваги для українського уряду та його партнерів щодо розроблення політики - від найближчих пріоритетів у воєнний час до середньострокових заходів підтримки та довгострокових структурних реформ.
Під час заходу відбудуться презентації авторів звіту і дискусія з українськими фахівцями щодо значення основних висновків звіту для політики контролю за обігом зброї.
