Craft weapons in Africa: State of play and regulatory approaches

The aim of the project is to examine the latest development in the artisanal arms and ammunition manufacturing sector in Africa as well as review the main regulatory approaches used by States and regional organizations. The research will serve to stimulate international  and regional discussions and the exchange of information and good practices to help counter the illicit production and use of artisanal weapons on the African continent.
