Selima Ben Chagra is a Project Officer for the Small Arms Survey's EU-LAS project with responsibility for project translations. Before joining the Survey, she worked as Liaison Officer and Translator/Interpreter at the United Nations Mine Action Service, Libya. Selima has provided communications and translation services for a wide range of international organizations and companies, covering technical subjects at both the policy and operational levels. She has exposure to thematic areas ranging from counter-terrorism and security to international development, including in conflict and post-conflict environments. She has also implemented projects in the public health area. She taught Arabic, French and translation at the university level.

Selima holds a Master of Translation degree (French-English and Arabic-English) from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor in English Linguistics from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences in Tunis.
